School trip to England 2025 - Day 1 (28th April 2025) :

We started our school trip to England this morning when we left at 5:00 am. We met our guide, her name is Sabrina.
The journey to Calais was exhausting. It took us 4 hours to get there but we stopped for breakfast at 9:30.
The crossing of the Channel was great because we appreciated the view of the white cliffs of Dover when we approached the harbour. As you can see on the photos, the weather was lovely : 24°C ! We ate on the ferry and played cards. When we arrived near Windsor, the guide gave us a lot of information about the history of England. She told us Windsor Castle was 52.000 square metres. It is the oldest and largest castle in England. It looks impressive ! We had 30 mn free time before we returned to the coach on our way to Gloucester.
